The Guardians of Ancient Wisdom
“Before it is too late, the diverse cultures, languages and ecosystems of endangered indigenous populations can be brought back from the edge of extinction. A concerted effort is required to safeguard the ecological consciousness and native spirituality of age-old cultures whose ways of life have protected not only seeds of corn, beans, and squash, but seeds of wisdom, providing alternate possibilities for humanity’s future.”
- Susana Valadez, anthropologist
